Abstract

Krzysztof Pruszewicz died on a Wednesday morning – in a mixer used for the production of the candy brand Cza-Cza. He had lived 20 years, eleven months and four days. His sisters, mother, school friends say that Krzysiek was a simple boy. He lived in Gorczenica, a village near Brodnica; he almost never left it. Once was with his class from the technical school in order to visit Częstochowa and to pray to the Black Madonna that he complete his secondary education successfully. And sometimes, he made a quick trip to Toruń to his girl and a couple of times to Gdansk to visit relatives. When he laughed, his nose wrinkled; his red hair did not want to lie neatly; and he had freckles.
