What Was Stalinism?
The ROSSPEN Edition on Stalinism

Andrej Meduševskij

Deutsche Fassung

Abstract

For several years, the publishing house ROSSPEN has been producing a series on the history of Stalinism. More than 100 books have appeared in the meantime. The series involves works by Russian historians, as well as translations of important Western studies on Stalinism. This edition offers a comprehensive picture of Stalinism and shows how, as a result of the archive revolution, the simplistic juxtaposition between totalitarianism theory and revisionism could be overcome.
